Doing something unusual, like knocking on wood or patting yourself on the head, while taking a daily dose of medicine may be an effective strategy to help seniors remember whether they've already taken their daily medications, suggests new research.
So won't you please help the seniors out by doing something unusual today when you take your medicine?

You blogged, I missed it, but you did it!!!! In your honor, I shall shout "cockadoodle doo" when I down my next dose!
Hi Catherine,
I hope you are well. I'm looking forward to more posts from you. I have recently become "separated" from my job (gotta love that new spin) and I would like to hear about your career change. I am thinking of taking a copy editing class. Did you take classes before your career switch? How did you prepare for the change??
Take care,
S
Dear Catherine,
I just have a quick question for you but couldn't find an email so had to resort to this. I am a progressive blogger on senior issues. Please email me back at barbaraobrien@maacenter.org when you get a chance. Thanks.
Barbara
Have you given up your blog?? I am also middle aged GASP! and have never been married and no kids. and not gay. very weird. would love to read your blog on this.
Dear Catherine,
I found your page on singles without children and wanted to let you know that I am in touch with women from East Coast, South and West Coast in their 40s, 50s and 60s who had no children and are single. I myself married once as a very young woman of 20 for a year and then kept busy moving for work and school and meeting men with transformational personalities who relocated and most decided to marry outside of the US. One went bankrupt and moved in with his mother... ...sometimes you cannot get the other half to cooperate. : ) Their loss! As to meaning? I am working on ways to make the world a better place without being a mother, improving health care, care of foster children, helping other women like myself and more. I might find a companion, but right now I am keeping busy... : ) You look like you are keeping pretty busy yourself... Very truly yours, A of CA
